<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated optical fiber number identifying tool, reducing the working time, and allowing a worker to surely recognize a coated optical fiber as a working object. <P>SOLUTION: In a clockwise coated optical fiber number identifying tool 10R has a ring-shaped form like Mt. Fuji, first to twelfth projecting parts 11<SB>1</SB>-11<SB>12</SB>are formed at equal spaces along the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface, first to twelfth grooves 12<SB>1</SB>-12<SB>12</SB>are formed between the adjacent projecting parts of the first to twelfth projecting parts 11<SB>1</SB>-11<SB>12</SB>, an identifying claw 13 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the first groove 12<SB>1</SB>portion, a cut line 14 is formed in a boundary portion between the twelfth projecting part 11<SB>12</SB>and the first groove 12<SB>1</SB>, a through hole 15 for passing an SZ twist slot rod 1b is formed extending from the left end face and the right end face, and first to twelfth indications 21<SB>1</SB>-21<SB>12</SB>for identifying the coated optical fiber number of each coated optical fiber are fitted to the top faces of the first to twelfth projecting parts 11<SB>1</SB>-11<SB>12</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
