<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an IC for switching of a recording ON state voltage compared with a constitution in which a direct recording method is performed using a toner which has been adhered to the surface of a toner carrying sleeve, and also, to suppress the generation of an insufficient image density resulting from the adhesion of a toner to locations close to holes on the surface of a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: In the direct recording method, toner particles T are repeatedly made to perform hopping between a first electrode 33aY and a second electrode 33bY which are arranged along the surface of the toner carrying sleeve 30Y on the surface of the toner carrying sleeve 30Y. A pulse voltage is repeatedly applied to the first electrode 33aY, and in the meantime, a constant voltage having the same value as the central value of the wave height of the repeated pulse voltage is applied to the second electrode 33bY to make the toner particles T perform hopping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
