摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new colorimetric apparatus for measuring the calory of a gas selected from among a paraffinic hydrocarbon gas, hydrogen gas, and mixed gases thereof, and to provide calorimetry. SOLUTION: The colorimetric apparatus includes both of a float-type calorimeter configured such that a float may be housed in the internal space of a tube movably upward and downward and a supply mechanism for supplying the float-type colorimeter with a gas, an object of colorimetry, under a controlled specific supply condition. On the basis of the previously acquired correlation between the calory of the gas, the object of colorimetry, and the vertical position of the float in the tube which is elevated and lowered by making the gas, the object of colorimetry, supplied under the specific supply condition flow through the internal space of the tube in the float type colorimeter, the calory of the gas, the object of colorimetry, is determined by collating the position of the float in the float type colorimeter measured when the gas, the object of colorimetry, is supplied under the specific supply condition with the correlation.
