<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform processing on an image data item having a plurality of pieces of classification information, in a user-friendly manner adapted to the contents of processing to be executed to the image data groups. <P>SOLUTION: A system controller selects collectively an image data group to which specific classification information is added, and determines whether or not a plurality of image data added with classification information are included in the selected image data group (S702). When the plurality of image data added with the classification information are included in the image data group, the system controller determines whether or not the plurality of image data added with the classification information are selected plural times (S703).
