PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device in which adjacent optical elements can be joined to each other without using an adhesive layer comprising an organic adhesive, wherein antireflective films the number of which is twice the number of the optical elements, and holders are not necessary. SOLUTION: The optical device includes: a plurality of optical elements 110, 120, 130 arranged at such positions that the main surfaces thereof are parallel to one another; and adhesive layers S12, S23 each of which is arranged at a position between the adjacent optical elements 110, 120, 130, where light is not transmitted, and comprises a metal or a semiconducting material for forming air spaces K12, K23 between the adjacent optical elements 110, 120, 130.
