PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for an exact calibration of an oscilloscope, taking a front end (analog component) of the oscilloscope in consideration. SOLUTION: In each channel 110 including an analog component 112 and digital components 118-124, an enhancement filter 120 enhances a response of each channel. From a step response obtained by supplying a calibration signal to each channel and a required step response of the oscilloscope, the characteristics of the enhancement filter are set by obtaining a filter coefficient of the enhancement filter.
