PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower in which a centrifugal fan can be fixed to a rotary shaft of a motor while ensuring a wide flow passage in the vicinity of a suction port of the centrifugal fan and in which breakage of the rotary shaft or a bearing and generation of abnormal noise can be easily suppressed during rotation of the centrifugal fan. SOLUTION: The electric blower includes a motor 18 stored in a motor case 24, bearings 37, 40 for supporting a rotary shaft 42 of the motor 18 rotatably, a centrifugal fan 17 mounted on one end part 42a of the rotary shaft 42, an interlocking member 70 for fixing the centrifugal fan 17 onto the rotary shaft 42 by engaging with the rotary shaft 42 in a dent part 42b formed in one end part 42a of the rotary shaft 42, and a fan cover 22 mounted on the motor case 24 for covering the centrifugal fan 17.
