PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film protective member coping with flange parts of various thickness and excelling in work efficiency dispensing with a worker's holding in installation. SOLUTION: The coating film protective member 1 detachably mounted to a steel member constituting a steel structure, to protect a coating film of the steel member, includes a plate-like body part 3, and a bent piece part 5 formed on the one-side side of the body part and extended bending at an angle of approximately 90°with respect to the body part 3.
