The damper has a vibration damper mass (1) movable by electromagnetically produced forces against force of a spring element (2) i.e. plate spring, where the damper is controlled under evaluation of a vibration detecting sensor system. Supplementary force components are introduced into the damper over the spring element by using parallel or individually-controlled piezo elements (6) such that natural frequency of a spring mass system of the damper is slightly changed, where the piezo elements are arranged on the spring element.
