PURPOSE: A piston swash plate type compressor is provided to prevent the abrasion of piston coating portion and the burning of piston by supplying the enough oil with the oil supply portion. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises an oil groove(66). The oil groove is formed based on the bridge(65) of the piston(60) according to the circumferential surface of the neighboring head(61). The swash plate type compressor comprises a front housing, a rear housing, a cylinder block, a piston, a shaft, and a swash plate chamber. In the cylinder block, the cylinder bore is formed in inside. The piston is reciprocated in the cylinder bore. The shaft coupled with the swash plate drives the piston. The swash plate chamber is formed between the cylinder block and the swash plate is located.
