PURPOSE: A burner for a wood pellet boiler is provided to prevent the distribution of the ash through a heat exchanger by moving a part of the air to the center of the burner along the downwardly inclined surface of an ash scattering-restricting member. CONSTITUTION: A burner(10) for a wood pellet boiler comprises outside and inside housings(20, 30), a pellet supply pipe(60), and an ash scattering-restricting member(40). The outer housing has an opening portion(21). The inside housing is installed in the inside of the outer housing. The inside housing has a plurality of air passages(31). The pellet supply tube is connected to the pellet supply hole(50) formed in the bottom surface of inside and outside housing. The ash scattering-restricting member is fixed in the opening portion of the outside housing and is bent downward. The ash scattering-restricting member guides the direction of the air blown to the inside of burner to the lower part. A plurality of air passages(32) is formed in the upper circumferential surface of the inside housing. The height of air passage is higher than the height of the ash scattering-restrict member or the same.
