<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which can reduce the leakage of a cooling liquid from a tube, when the tube is divided and an image forming apparatus provided with the cooling device. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling device includes a heat receiving part disposed to contact a cooling surface of a temperature-increasing part, the temperature of which is increased by an image forming operation, a radiation part radiating the heat of the cooling liquid, the tube for circulating the cooling liquid between the heat receiving part and the radiation part, a conveying part conveying the cooling liquid in the tube, a coupling whose both ends are connected or disconnected to the tube, and an outlet for draining the cooling liquid from the tube to the outside. At least one of the tube connected to one end of the coupling and the tube connected to the other end of the coupling extends to a position lower than the position of a coupling part where the coupling and the tube are connected to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
