PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rigidity of a vehicle while minimizing a change position in conformity with actual vehicle design. SOLUTION: This vehicle lower structure 100 includes a side member 101 arranged on respective both sides in the vehicle width direction, a long cross member 102 extending in the vehicle width direction and a fuel tank 103. A trailing arm installing bracket 104 for holding a bush 106 is included in the side member 101. The cross member 102 connects the respective trailing arm installing brackets 104. The fuel tank 103 is arranged in a vehicle rear side space area enclosed by the respective trailing arm installing brackets 104 and the cross member 102. A flat area flatly extending in the vehicle width direction by turning to the vehicle front, is included in a front face of the fuel tank 103. A straight part 121 forming part of the cross member 102 is positioned in front of a vehicle to the flat area 117, extends in the vehicle width direction, and is formed into a shape visible in a laterally long rectangular shape when viewed from the vehicle front side.
