PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positron tomography method that can be applied to diagnosis of concrete brain diseases, and a positron-emitting compound to be used for this method. SOLUTION: As it is considered that if a substituent having a positron-emitting ability is introduced into a selective ligand of a glycine transporter (GlyT-1) and a positron tomography method is performed, the distribution and an integration density of GlyT-1 in a brain which relate to various diseases could be clarified. researches are performed repeatedly energetically concerning compounds usable in the positron tomography method, and it is found that a compound (I), (II), or (III) in this invention is suitable for the positron tomography method, since the compound is superior in permeability to blood brain barrier, and in addition its selective affinity to GlyT-1 is especially superior.
