PURPOSE: A warning system for falling racks is provided to minimize damage caused by falling rocks by previously detecting the symptom of falling rocks. CONSTITUTION: A warning system for falling racks comprises a mesh, a wire net, a measurement unit(100), and an alarming unit. The top and sides of the mesh are fixed to a slope, and the bottom is opened. The top and sides of the wire net are fixed to the slope, and the bottom is opened. The wire net is formed by coupling multiple wires in a latticed shape. The measurement unit measures the displacement of the wire net. The alarming unit analyzes data collected from the measurement unit and generates an alarm when the analyzed data exceeds a set reference value.
