<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tissue having softness and smoothness equal to or higher than those of conventional moisturized tissue and having reduced stickiness and tearability in use. <P>SOLUTION: Chemical solution is applied to two-ply tissue such that the amount of chemicals contained in the two-ply paper is 1.5 to 5.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>, and such that the amount of chemicals contained in one of two sheets that constitute the two-ply paper is 0.67 to 1.5 times the amount of chemicals contained in the other sheet. The two-ply tissue applied with a chemical solution is thus configured to have a basis weight per layer of the sheets that constitute the two-ply paper of 10-25 g/m<SP>2</SP>, a thickness of the two-ply paper of 80-175 μm, a dry tensile strength in the CD direction of the two-ply paper of 100-170 cN/25 mm; a wet tensile strength in the CD direction of the two-ply paper of 30-70 cN/25 mm; and a softness of 0.9-1.5 cN/100 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
