<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire for a streetlight, which efficiently diffuses thermal energy generated from an LED element and power supply device in a lamp main body. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire for a streetlight consists of: a lamp casing mounted on a metal pole; a cover body mounted on the casing so as to open and close; a substrate with a plurality of LED elements arranged; a reflector arranged in a periphery of the substrate; and the power supply device which make the LED elements emit light. The lamp casing is formed of a light metal die cast, and the cover body is formed of metal material with higher thermal conductivity than that of the lamp main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
