PYRROLO[2, 3-D]PYRIMIDIN DERIVATIVE AS PROTEIN KINASE B INHIBITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compounds useful in the treatment or prevention of diseases or medical conditions mediated by protein kinase B (PKB), such as cancers.

SOLUTION: There are provided condensed bicyclic heterocyclic compounds exemplified as 4-amino-N-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)ethyl)-1-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)piperidine-4-carboxamide, (S)-4-amino-N-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)ethyl)-1-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)piperidine-4-carboxamide, and the like. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds, to methods of treatment of diseases mediated by PKB using the compounds, and to methods for preparing the compounds.
