<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsion ink with high storage stability, which has good discharge property even if the ink is used for inkjet. <P>SOLUTION: The water-in-oil type emulsion ink contains, in a water phase, 0.5 to 35 mass% naphthalenesulfonic acid salt formalin condensate based on the total mass of the water phase, wherein the viscosity at 23°C is 3 to 100 mPa s.
