<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for cleaning an optical fiber core, in which the cleaning process of the fusion-connection operation of the optical fiber can be performed with a simple configuration and which can be made compact. <P>SOLUTION: The device 10 for cleaning the optical fiber core includes: upper side and lower side sponges 14 and 15 for pinching the whole of a core wire 1a via a gauze 11; a plurality of conveyer rollers 16, 16a and 16b for conveying the gauze 11 from a gauze feeding bobbin 12 to a gauze take-up bobbin 13 by making the gauze 11 pass through a permeation tank 23, a lower side sponge 15 and an upper side sponge 14 in this order, so that the cleaning faces of the gauze 11 at the upper side and the lower side sponges 14 and 15 are reversed and both faces of the gauze 11 are conveyed from the terminal to the top of the core wire 1a; a driving button 17 which drives a projection device 18 when cleaning the core to project the upper side sponge 14 from the inside of a body upper part 10a; and a control part 31 which intermittently drives the gauze take-up bobbin 13 to take up the gauze 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
