PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable molded motor, capable of achieving long life and long drive, by efficiently radiating heat generated during drive. SOLUTION: The molded motor 20 is a motor for an electric vehicle 1 mounted while overlapping with a swing arm 5, namely a planar support member. The molded motor 20 includes a stator core 24 covered with a mold resin 21, a motor case 50 including the mold resin 21 and including openings 54 to 57 from which part of the mold resin 21 is exposed, and coupling units 58a to 58d for exposing at least part of the openings 54 to 57 to the outside of the swing arm 5 to couple the motor case 50 to the swing arm 5. Thus, even if the swing arm 5 covering the periphery of the molded motor 20 is coupled to the molded motor 20 by the coupling units 58a to 58d, the mold resin 21 is directly exposed to the fresh air.
