PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase flexibility for bending of an image display medium, in which barrier walls segmenting cells for sealing a group of particles for image display are formed between substrates. SOLUTION: The display medium 10 includes a pair of substrates 11 and 21 disposed opposing to each other, at least one of which has light transmitting property, barrier walls 7 disposed in the gap between the substrates for segmenting a plurality of cells 8, and a display particle group 5 sealed in each cell and having a prescribed charging polarity, and the medium 10 displays an image by applying an electric field between the substrates to move the display particle group.
