PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that sufficiently prevents exhaust from stirring up dust regardless of inclination of a cleaner body. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: the cleaner body 8 which has a built-in electric blower 1 generating sucking air; an outlet 19 which is installed farther on an exhaust side than the electric blower 1 and changes a blowing direction of the exhaust; and an inclination sensor for sensing the inclination of the cleaner body 8. The vacuum cleaner is configured to change the blowing direction of the exhaust in accordance with the inclination of the cleaner body 8 which is sensed by the inclination sensor.
