The invention relates to a hydropneumatic actuator that can be applied to actuations where a linear movement must be performed while ensuring the freedom of a rotary movement. A main hydraulic cylinder (7, 10), used to generate an axial movement and driven by the rotating movement imposed by the machine on which the actuator is mounted, is controlled by a pressure amplifying hydropneumatic converter. Said converter is arranged around said main hydraulic cylinder and rotates therewith, and comprises an annular pneumatic piston (3) controlled by an outer fixed pneumatic directional vane (16) supplying the converter via a fixed distributor (12) comprising rotary joints forming the pneumatic interface between the distributor and the rotating part. The pneumatic piston integrates at least two pressure amplifying hydraulic cylinders (1, 5). |
