<p>The present invention relates to a control device for a traction kite particularly intended for controlling the traction wings with short lines. It consists of a horizontal central bar (1) of which the rear end is fastened to an element (23) or a structure (38) (39) widening progressively towards the rear of the device. The front end of the central bar (1) is secured to the narrow part of a horizontal rigid plate (2) widening progressively towards the front of the device. A gripping handle (3) perpendicular to the central bar (1) is fastened to the front end of the rigid plate (2).
