<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device and an inverter controller which reduce the switching noise of voltage-driven semiconductor switching elements, such as, an IGBT, without making a device complex. <P>SOLUTION: A power source voltage Vgs of a gate drive circuit 231 is made controllable by a command from a voltage command device (a microcomputer) 234, and is changed, according to the temperature information of the elements to adjust a gate voltage Vg of an IGBT 211.
