PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type hot water supply device capable of detecting water stoppage at low cost. SOLUTION: This storage type hot water supply device includes a water supply temperature storing means 21 for storing a water supply temperature detected by a water supply temperature sensor 10 in a state that a hot water supply detecting means 8 detects hot water supply, and a water supply failure determining means 22 determining a water supply failure when a detection temperature detected by the water supply temperature sensor 10 does not lower to around the water supply temperature stored in the water supply temperature storing means 21 within a given time from the detection of the hot water supply when the hot water supply detecting means 8 detects the hot water supply after the water supply temperature detected by the water supply temperature sensor 10 becomes higher than the water supply temperature stored in the water supply temperature storing means 21 by a given temperature or higher in a state that the hot water supply detecting means 8 detects no-hot water supply.
