PURPOSE: A periodic/non-periodic transmission switching method of a channel estimation reference signal and channel estimation reference signal transmission and reception apparatus and method using the same are provided to use a transmission pointer including a periodic/non-periodic identification pointer and trigger pointer, thereby enabling to transmit and receive the channel estimation reference signal. CONSTITUTION: A periodic transmission section is determined when periodically transmitting a channel estimation reference signal. A non-periodic transmission section is determined when non-periodically transmitting a channel estimation reference signal. A periodic/non-periodic identification pointer is transmitted in order to identify the periodic/non-periodic transmission section. A transmission pointer is transmitted including the periodic/non-periodic identification pointer. The transmission pointer is formed with more than 2 bit.
