Classes 75(2), 75(3) and 75(4) [Also in Groups X and XIII] A combined heating and lighting unit for attachment to a wall or ceiling comprises a pipe grid for hot fluid having two or more parallel runs of pipe 1 arranged above a number of anodized aluminium panels 5 which are formed with troughs 6 in which the pipes 1 are secured by clips 7, one or more strip lighting elements, preferably in the form of fluorescent tubes 10, 'being arranged in close proximity to the surface of the panels. The pipe grid is supported by angle irons 4 suspended from the ceiling by rods 3, the grid and the panels 5 being lagged by rock wool 8 held in position by a plate 9. Terminal brackets supporting the tubes 10 are secured to the panels 5 or angle irons 4. The combined unit may be employed as a continuous strip around a factory wall or one or more parallel units may be suspended under the roof. Specification 690,321 [Group X] is referred to. |
