<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin solution for a lithium cell battery which can manufacture an electrode excellent in pliability and flexibility and to provide a battery excellent in electrolytic solution resistance, pliability and flexibility or particularly to provide a lithium battery. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacture of the electrode for the battery, the binder resin solution for the lithium battery electrode which contains (A) a polymer containing a nitrile group, (B) an acrylic monomer and/or a methacrylic monomer and a solvent. More particularly, the electrode for the battery has a current collector, and a mixture layer provided on at least one surface of the current collector. The mixture layer is obtained by (a) a step of coating the current collector with a slurry containing the binder resin solution for the lithium battery electrode and the active substance; (b) a step of removing the solvent from the coated slurry; and (c) a step of polymerizing (B) the acrylic monomer and/or the methacrylic monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
