Adhesive composition comprises a block copolymer having unit(s) of the type ABA or BAB, where A is a homo- or copolymer block comprising higher alkyl (meth)acrylate units with a molecular weight of 492-30,000, B is a homo- or copolymer block with a softening point of -80 to +20 degrees C, and A and B are immiscible. Adhesive composition comprises a block copolymer having at least one unit of the type ABA or BAB, where A is a homo- or copolymer block comprising units derived from a higher alkyl (meth)acrylate of formula (I) with a molecular weight of 492-30,000, B is a homo- or copolymer block with a softening point of -80 to +20 degrees C, and A and B are homogeneously immiscible. CH2=CH(R<1>)(COOR<2>) (I) R<1> = H or Me; and R<2> = an optionally substituted linear, branched or cyclic (un)saturated aliphatic group with more than 30 C atoms.
