Class 52(2) A seat for an infant which can be carried by means of handles 9 or secured to a chair or vehicle seat by hooks 12 has a seat portion 1, of wood or other material upholstered and covered by textile material or plastic, suspended at each side from a metal frame 3 by fabric webs 4 and by a front web 5, and a backrest 2 connected to the seat portion 1 by the covering material and secured to frame 3 by a flap 7 and releasable fastening 8 or foldable on to the seat portion when the seat is collapsed to a flat condition. Hooks 12 may be housed when not in use in a pocket 13 closable by a flap 14. |
