PURPOSE: A vibration wave motor, a lens barrel, and a camera are provided to coat alumite on the sliding surface of a mover, thereby enhancing the abrasion resistance features of the vibration wave motor. CONSTITUTION: An electric machine transforming device is excited by a driving signal. A vibrator(11) generates a progressing vibration wave on a driving surface(18a) by the excitation. A counterpart movement member(12) is driven by the progressing vibration wave. A pressurization member(22) is formed between a gear member(23) and a bearing support member(24) wherein the gear member is fixed to an output axis(20). The gear member is fixed by a stopper(25).
