PURPOSE: A bumble bee Bombus ignitus poisonous liquid-derived serine protease is provided to activate prothrombin and to develop thrombosis disease. CONSTITUTION: A serine protease of Bombus ignitus poisonous liquid which activates thrombin precursor is a mature protein having 247 amino acids of sequence number 1. The serine protease dissolves fibrinogen into fiber. A composition for treating thrombosis contains the serine protease. The serine protease is used for treating peripheral artery disease.
