PURPOSE: A center path based map matching system and a method thereof are provided to reduce the error of a vehicle position by moving the current position of a vehicle to a collected center route. CONSTITUTION: In a center path based map matching system and a method thereof, a DR sensor(110) corresponds to the sensor measuring the location of the vehicles. A map matching part(120) performs a map matching procedure for guiding the route of the vehicle based on the position information and a center route. A map database(130) stores map data and a route output unit(150) outputs the road guidance information of the vehicles. |
