A pet waste removal system comprises a paddle 5 and a brush 8 that are, in use, driven horizontally by an elbow arm 3 to scoop and brush waste into a collection chamber 16. A sanitation system may be provided to squirt water or another fluid onto the paddle, the brush and the area from which waste is being removed 18. The sanitation system preferably comprises a water sanitation tank 11 and directional water jets 13. The paddle, brush and sanitation system are preferably operated by means of a common lever 1. The elbow arm may be pivoted about a pivot point 4 to control motion of the paddle along two pairs of tracks 9 when the lever is operated. The collection chamber may comprise a door 15 attached using a sprung hinge 14 to allow automatic emptying via a docking station. |
