The track adjustment system has an electromotive spindle drive and a flexible drive shaft (10). The drive shaft is coupled with a threaded spindle for longitudinal adjustment of pair of tracks. The tracks (2,3) are connected to each by a retaining element (4) which is made up of plastics. The retaining element has a guide channel (7) for receiving of the drive shaft.
