<p>PURPOSE: An electronic component is provided to prevent an insulating film from being separated from a laminate while an embedded circuit device gets bigger, thereby preventing short-circuit. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of insulating layers is laminated to form a laminate(12). The laminate includes an upper surface(S1), a lower surface(S2), and sides(S5,S6) wherein the upper surface faces the lower surface. An insulator film(20) is formed on the sides. A circuit device is embedded in the laminate. The circuit device comprises a protrusion(19b) which is protruded from the sides of the laminate toward the insulating film.</p> |
