Novelty: Integrated anti-microbial system of tubes designed for the protection of cables. Constitution: Rigid tubes, shaped wavy tubes, pipe couplings, fixing collars, surface junction boxes of different dimensions, and adaptors/fitting means connecting the anti-microbial tube to the junction boxes (fig. 1). Technical features: Addition of a special anti-microbial additive in the receipt of the different thermoplastic materials with which different sections of said cable-protecting system are manufactured. Purpose: To dramatically reduce and impede the growth of microbial populations. Embodiment: Use in power installations, food laboratories, bakeries, cheese-dairies, pork meat factories, hospitals, surgeries etc. |
