This invention relates to a device for detecting fluid discharges characterized in that it comprises a housing inside which is a pressure sensor which monitors the flow conditions, an integrated circuit where the information captured by the pressure sensor is stored, the pressure sensor usually being inserted in the purge port of the fluid outlet valve; if there is no purge orifice the invention can be inserted via a 'T'-shaped coupling device, inserted in the outlet port, depending on the type of fluid outlet valve used. The pressure sensor monitors the time and date of the discharge and transmits this information to a remote device which stores it before transmitting it to a reader included in a computer, so that it can read, store and log the events monitored by the fluid detector device.
