A ring (8) is made of a synthetic material coating and interposed between the pin and chain links (1). Connectors (3, 5) are fixed on supports (9a-9c). The bore longitudinally extending from one of supports to the other support encloses a vaporizable material (12) comprising a liquid phase and permitting to evacuate the phase towards the connectors. Calories are provided in the ring. The configuration of the pin allows the vaporizable material to return into central zones for again vaporizing the material in a steady state such that convection movement is processed inside the pin, thus ensuring cooling in the vicinity of a crown. The pin utilizes a heat pipe to ensure cooling of the rings, thus allowing maintenance of the rings at a reasonable temperature and increasing the lifespan of the rings.
