<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing performance by devising a temperature and the surface treatment of a recording medium at the time of printing. <P>SOLUTION: The printing method includes; a step to heat up the recording medium to 30°C or more, a step to discharge an ink composition containing a polymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator on the recording medium heated up to 30°C or higher, and a step to polymerize the polymerizable compound by irradiating light on the discharged ink composition.
