<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method and an ink-jet recording apparatus, wherein an ink image with high quality and good abrasion resistance without generation of beading and bleeding is formed on a recording medium, in ink-jet recording with an intermediate transfer member. <P>SOLUTION: The ink image 20 is formed by applying an image fixing component (for example, reacting liquid) to a transfer drum 1, which serves as the intermediate transfer member, and then applying thereto inks of colors, Y, M, C, and K, from recording heads 18 corresponding to each color.
