PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance, in an electric equipment housing structure in which electric equipment is received in a housing unit embedded in a surface recess of a wall body, the design property or the maintenance property of the electric equipment. SOLUTION: A wall paper 13 adhered to the surface of the wall body 1 is engulfed inside a unit body 30 opened at the front in the housing unit 3, whereby the sense of thickness of the wall body 1 is emphasized while enhancing the sense of integration of the wall body 1 and the housing unit 3, whereby the design property is improved. An electric equipment mounting panel 31 is detachably installed inside the unit body 30 without bolting or screwing while being fitted over between a downward groove 37 and an upward groove 38 formed in the unit body 30, whereby the attachment/detachment operation of the panel 31 is facilitated to facilitate the maintenance of electric equipment 4, 4.
