PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, a mobile station device, a base station device, and a processing method capable of efficiently performing processing accompanied with introduction of a contention based uplink and promptly performing communications.

SOLUTION: The mobile station device communicates with the base station device in the mobile communication system. The mobile station includes: a buffer for a contention based uplink; and a buffer for a normal uplink HARQ as buffers for HARQ.
