<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device that performs in-network band control over any session when structuring a session with the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The gateway device includes a storage part which stores a table wherein information on a communicable band of a first network is recorded, and a control part which determines whether a band for a session can be secured by reference to the table when information on a bit rate of the session is received from an information processing device connected to the first network before the session is started between the information processing device and a session server connected to a second network, and transmits information indicating that the session is permitted to start and updates the communicable band in the table to a value obtained by subtracting the band used for the session from the band when it is determined that the band of the session can be secured, or transmits information indicating that the session is not permitted to the information processing device when it is determined that the band of the session can not be secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
