<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently guide a light beam by suppressing warpage of a housing caused by thermal deformation in an optical scanner. <P>SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes: a polygon motor 34 which rotatably drives a polygon mirror 33 for deflecting a light beam; a control substrate 35 on which the polygon motor is mounted; and a housing 31 having an installation region in which the control substrate is installed. On the opposite side from the installation region in the housing, there is provided a dummy substrate mounting region in which a dummy substrate 39 can be detachable that suppresses warpage of the housing caused by the thermal deformation of the control substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
