PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a damage of a transistor element, and the inflow and outflow of current even though not only a potential higher than its own power supply potential but also a potential lower than its own ground potential GND are applied. SOLUTION: This output circuit includes: a first leak current prevention circuit for preventing current from flowing from an output terminal to the output circuit; a second leak current prevention circuit for preventing current from flowing the output circuit to the output terminal; and a selection circuit for operating the first current prevention circuit when voltage higher than a power supply voltage of the output circuit is applied to the output terminal, and operating the second leak current prevention circuit when voltage lower than ground voltage is applied to the output terminal.
