PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating/cooling device for an internal combustion engine, appropriately cooling the piston of the internal combustion engine by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A thermoelement valve 12 opening/closing an oil supply port according to temperature of engine oil is provided in the device body of an oil injection device 4e injecting the engine oil to the piston of the engine. When the temperature of the engine oil is low, the thermoelement valve 12 closes the oil supply port 8b. However, when the temperature of the engine oil is raised, a shaft 13b extends and a body 13a moves to the side of the head of a fastening bolt 8 against pressing force of a spring 15, thereby opening the oil supply port 8b by the thermoelement valve 12. When the oil supply port 8b is opened, the engine oil in an oil gallery 5a is injected to the rear surface of the piston through a conduit 10a or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
