A bearing comprising a plurality of rolling elements disposed between a first race and a second race. At least one of the rolling elements is a control element having characteristics which differ from the remaining rolling elements. Rotation of the first race with respect to the second race causes the control element to travel at a precessional speed which is greater than or less than the precessional speed of the remaining rolling elements.
